Omschrijving
‘Noa’s Dream’ is an epic science-fiction and fantasy story between 2060 and 2090, exploring the deep interconnection between humanity, spirituality, artificial intelligence, and the intelligent Earth (Terra) itself. The book sketches a near future in which spirituality, technology, and humanity are inextricably intertwined.
Across four parts—Dust, Noa, Terra, and Initiation—the story follows Annie, whose harsh trials and dangerous adventures transform her from a carefree young woman into the wise and adult mother of the divine child Noa, a child with extraordinary spiritual, technical and ethical insights. She represents a new form of consciousness in which technology, especially Artificial Intelligence, becomes a moral ally rather than a threat. Together with the self-aware Terra and ethically guided humans, she initiates a new ethical prospect for humanity and nature.
A quotation:
“Noa smiles and says: ‘Indeed, Puti, all of humanity needs a big push to move in the right direction. That’s the task I was given by the Gods. The work we do here, spreading Noa’s Dream, has exactly that effect.”’
Noa’s Dream offers a hopeful vision of the future, suggesting that salvation lies in growing awareness, responsibility, and ethically guided technological progress. Written as an epic adventures SF story, it all remains recognizable due to its many parallels with contemporary developments. The child Noa, together with her mother Annie, invites everyone to reflect: not only on what the near future may bring, but above all how we want to shape our own future.
